At the Australian Institute of Creative Design, we’re always looking for fresh inspiration! So we’ve compiled our top 10 visual artists who you need to follow on Instagram to keep those creative juices flowing!

 

10. Helen Baum

Helen Baum is a graphic designer and illustrator based in Berlin.  Baum’s Instagram is sure to inspire you to work on prints and use literally all the colours.

8. Catalina Estrada

Catalina Estrada is a pattern designer and illustrator from Columbia, currently based in Barcelona.  Her work is rooted in Latin American folklore and has worked with major brand names such as Paul Smith, Coca-Cola, Microsoft, Nike, Levis, Smart/Mercedes-Benz, Paulo Coelho, Unicef and many more.

 

7.  Steven Millington

Steve Millington is an illustrator, signwriter and engraver.  Millington has a traditional skillset and loves anything vintage.  He has worked for a lot of high-profile clients such as Royal Automobile Club, Pall Mall, Virgin, and McDonalds.    Check out his Instagram for a bit of modern and still timeless artwork.

Daniel Frost is an artist and illustrator who loves depicting strange situations and odd people.  Frost combines traditional materials with current digital technologies to create a blend of new and old.

Guy Mckinley is an illustrator, concept artist and painter who has worked for many notable and high-profile clients such as: Disney, Adidas, New Balance, Diesel, Sprite (Coca-Cola) and BBC, just to name a few.

4.  Gustavo and Otávio Pandolfo

Gustavo and Otávio Pandolfo have worked together since they were children, where they developed a distinct way to communicate through art.  Growing up they used the streets as their place to study art.  Starting with street art and graffiti they evolved and became influenced by new cultures, and have now performed at a variety of exhibitions in museums and galleries around the world.
