Fashion Mentoring Helps Mines Worker Launch Successful Fashion Label

Australian Institute of Creative Design fashion mentoring student Nikke Horrigan has gone from working in the mines to successfully launching his own fashion label in just 3 short months.

Since starting the program in September he has ordered his men’s t-shirt range made from organic Indian cotton from China, created a gorgeous photo shoot, launched a website, grown a solid Instagram following, employed an intern, planned his next range including tech packs, created pop-up stores, planned for upcoming market stalls, AND sold 30% of his stock in approximately 4 weeks leading up to Christmas!!

We covered the full story in our Autumn issue of Artista. It’s a great interview, so make sure you don’t miss it!
