Our Photography Students get to take all sorts of photos of products for their portfolios as well as for industry clients, however, just as the photo is the creative expression of the photographer, this time they were taking photos of something that was in itself its own form of creative expression… A wooden bicycle!
Silkwood Cycles create ride-able art by creating custom built bicycle frames from wood!. The bikes, nicknamed a “Woody”, add another dimension to the experience of riding or owning a bicycle, and recently our photography students were involved in a photoshoot with the beautiful bikes.
The photoshoot was held at the college studio and then on location at Currumbin giving the students a great opportunity to shoot these amazing bicycles in their best light.
Thanks again to Silkwood Cycles — the Australian Institute of Creative Design is always looking for opportunities to work with industry.
